Introduction

DESMOCRETE DEXTR is a styrene-acrylic polymer emulsion based modifier for ordinary portland cement (OPC) which strengthen hydrated cement phase by forming polymeric spatial network in its voids. DESMOCRETE DEXTR helps to overcome common limitations of OPC like poor bonding between new and old concrete, cracking, dusting etc. Addition of DESMOCRETE DEXTR significantly enhanced bonding characteristics, increases flexural strength and decreases water permeability of concrete.

Introduction

Desmocrete DM is a chloride free admixture designed to impart hydrophobic characteristic in the cement matrix of concrete or mortar. It significantly improves the waterproofing properties of concrete by reducing the shrinkage cracks and blocking capillary pores of the cement phase. Addition of Desmocrete DM also make concrete more workable with reduced segregation and concrete bleeding.
